There is no doubt that Jesus of Nazareth is one of the most important historical and religious figures of all time. Today, numerous attempts are under way to search for the “historical Jesus” in an effort to determine who he really claimed to be and what he actually did. Many of these efforts are quite skeptical about what Scripture tells us about Jesus. Yet it is a fact that the Jesus who has so impacted our world is the one we find presented mainly in these four Gospel portraits of
